If Obama is serious about Palin's family being off limits, why doesn't he go after MoveOn.org & The DailyKos?

They are the ones who started and continue to spread vicious attacks against Sarah Palin, most of which are outright smears and lies and the rest of which are sexist attacks against a working mother.





Obama seems to feel okay saying that his staff shouldn't be attacking the woman, but he seems loathe to take the fight to his supporters who are spouting this garbage. Then again, the scumbags at MoveOn and the Kos paid for the fireworks at the Temple of Barackropolis, so I am guessing he never will confront them. Obama doesn't have McCain's courage, not when there is a price tag attached.

In fairness....McCain generally does not go after right wing groups that criticize Obama either, even though he claims to reject that criticism.

It is called freedom of speech. Obama, even when he is president, can't stop these organizations from saying what they want. He can dissociate himself from them and make it known that he doesn't approve of their actions but that's it. Now Bush might make some sort of illegal law (just like his wire-tapping) or illegally go to war against them but any person in their right mind wouldn't.
MoveOn.org %26amp; the DailyKos are not official appendages to the Obama campaign. Obama probably did ask them to stop, and they decided not to listen. Obama is too busy campaigning against McCain to focus on those two organizations' behavior. Besides, McCain doesn't seem to care about conservative organizations using attacks he personally disagrees with.
Get real I don't recall McCain telling anyone Obama is a christian and the Muslim stuff was off limits, or the birth certificate stuff, the ayers stuff, or Michelle was off limits at any time, at least Obama did appeal to people not to make the campaign about anything other than issues. Maybe if McCain becomes man enough to reciprocate Obama would do what you think he should but we know McCain will never stand up for th Obamas as Obama did for the Palins. McCain has no class and is in no way a honorable person beyond his military service.
Obama is playing the game.


He isn't responsible for what his closest supporters do because he says it is wrong.

If you havent noticed, Obama is busy fighting off the constant commercials Mccains associates keep putting out, which have called him everything in the book from an elitist to a muslim to an anti american. He did a nice thing by saying the kids are off limits, that doesnt mean he suddenly has an ';S'; on his shirt and a cape on his back. Hell, why doesnt he just GIVE the election to Palin and Mccain, and maybe babysit her kids for her? Just because he was professional about it and said the family is off limits, doesnt mean hes suddenly a push over. Mccain has spent the majority of his time bashing Obama and now Palin has jumped on board in the same manner, why should Obama bow down to them?


If someone doesnt want to get knocked out, they dont step in the ring. Palin stepped in the ring and spent about an hour bashing Obama in a very sarcastic cynical way. Did he ever say anything about her before that?
