Suppressing another is not new to liberals who wish to further their agenda.... Marriage, has never been, and is not a right of any kind. You need to read some new blogs, and you also need to read things more carefully, not just the headlines! The ';New Ledger'; apparently likes to take things seriously out of context. If you actually read it, they said there would not be as good of a turnout of minorities for the 2010 election. That's likely going to be the case...Obama really rocked the minority vote and brought minorities out in record numbers, highly unusual. The Hispanic and Black communities are also heavily Christian, and their churches encouraged them to vote for Prop. 8, trying to incite ire that the GLBT community was comparing their human rights struggles to those of minorities. The comparisons are valid, but they tick off many blacks and Hispanics.
Are you really surprised by this. Liberals are agenda driven and the agenda trumps all other considerations. I have always viewed the liberals like warring tribes. They may come together for brief periods to fight what they consider to a greater enemy, but once that battle is won they expect their agenda to be first and foremost. They will not stand for anything which they feel threatens that agenda. Just wait you are going to see more of this with the Democrats holding such a majority. If they feel they are not being addressed, or even suppressed they will become more and more vocal and vicious. I am waiting for the war protesters to re-emerge since Obama is making no headway on ending the wars. Then will come the environmental groups when Cap and Trade fails to pass. All this does is just illustrate what many already understand. There is no legitimate dissent in the eyes of a liberal, you either follow along in lock step or you will be viewed as an enemy and treated accordingly.

It's not infighting. It's their way of play. Create a bunch of special interest groups and pander to each to accomplish a greater goal. Write off a special interest group for another part of the plan. I cannot understand why radical feminists continue to support the Democrats, personally. They were written off by Bill Clinton and came out and endorsed him anyway. Silly fools. They will never learn they are all pawns for the liberal elite.
Minorities hate gays because they think all gays are white, and that homosexuality is a white disease.





So the hatred for whites is spilled onto the hatred for gays.





What needs to be done is to show that there are many gays and lesbians in the ethnic communities, and that they are being harmed as well.
If Adrianna Huffington, George Soros, Young Turks -- and more of the official Democrat Party base, which are really just a bunch of immigrants that came into our country to destroy it, latch on to the idea, I'm sure it will happen.





You know who those ';minorities'; they're talking about are, right?

I can't understand how it's legal to make gay marriage illegal...';the law is reason without passion'; (socrates)..that amounts to discrimination, the state has no place in people's bedrooms...they are tax paying citizens guaranteed the same rights as anyone else under the law
I don't agree that the DailyKos advocated suppressing minority turnout. Recognizing that the record turnout is unlikely to be duplicated is hardly ';suppression';.

i agree that gay marriage needs to get passed, but in a better method than not accepting public opinion.
